Yoda in the classroom

Jíííí! For anyone who ever doubted it, take it from a duck:
syntax and semantics rule!

Today, we learned how to say the following:
Das buch gelesen habe Ich nicht.
Mit ihm habe Ich gesprochen
(but NOT Ihm habe Ich mit gesprochen!!)
(at this rate, can German fluency be far off?)

Also, one of the rarer sentances in the English language*:
Eat breakfast, I must.

YES, YES - are you thinking what I'm thinking?

*But technically possible, though it took me a long time to realize this..

Rokkandi spennó!

Yeah. German grammar is incredibly funny, isn't it? Whenever I just try to say a sentence, I burst out laughing and can't stop for several minutes. So me and my friends now switched over to sign language for communication. :-D

By the way, is there a Canadian river with less than 12 letters at all?

Ahhhh.. that would be the Assin- Saskatch- Nope.

..Although we do have a RED river, which is only 3 letters unless you are like the Americans and already have one of your own and thus call it the "Red River of the North" instead..

PS Yay for German grammar!

Are you sure that RED isn't just an acronym for something a lot longer?
